This popular community event has taken place every year since 1950, apart from 2020, owing to the COVID-19 Emergency.
Charlbury Street Fair is starting with Egg Throwing, in association with Riverside, on Friday 16th outside the Rose and Crown in Church Street. 6.30pm to dusk.
The main event on 17th starts with the Children’s Fancy Dress competition and parade. The judging starts at 1.30pm. Then the Grand Opening and prize giving at 2pm, with lots of stalls, entertainment including Classic Cars, Fire Engine Display, Music, Sea Shanties, Morris Dancing – and Dancing in the Street in the evening, with the Draw being held at 5pm.
