Charlbury Street Fair 2018 – Seeking Key Volunteer
Preparations are well in hand for our 2018 Street Fair and we are starting to think about 2019!!
As Hannen Beith our stalwart Secretary is standing down after this year’s event, we will very much welcome a volunteer with good administrative skills to join us. Between Hannen and myself we would ideally like to arrange a handover September/ October time so we can start the 2019 arrangements smoothly!
If interested do contact us via http://charlburystreetfair.org/contact-us/

Well, the Accounts are almost completed and very many thanks to Carolyn Ashton (Treasurer) for all her hard work. Thanks, too, to all sponsors, givers, and volunteers. The Corner House and War Memorial Hall are now over £9,300 better off.
A fantastic result given that this year’s committee were mostly newbies (but acknowledge the generous and wise advice from their predecessors). Also, the sound system and stage cost over £1000 more than last year but we’ve had nothing but praise for it. And, the stalls takings were down (we’re looking into that). 2018 promises to be a record breaking year.
If you’d like to volunteer, in any capacity, even just for a couple of hours on the day, please contact our Secretary – Hannen Beith either via this site or direct on email@example.com. We hope to garner a large group of volunteers this year, to spread the load, and to have even more fun!

Do go along to the Memorial Hall to see the Exhibition of all the children’s entries to the Street Fair Art Competition! The theme of course is “Alice in Wonderland” and the children from the Primary School have really embraced this subject with some wonderful vibrant images. As judging is always so difficult, there are quite a few “highly commended” so do go and see if yours is among them. Open Saturday 10-5.30, Sunday 10-4.30.
Has anyone seen through the looking glass into Tim’s window at Cotswold Frames yet? It’s fabulous!
